Teresa has over 25 years of professional experience; before starting her firm 20 years ago she worked for Peat Marwick. The Peat Marwick experience with large companies gave her a solid understanding of financial analysis and presentation, with an emphasis on nonprofit healthcare organizations. She served as Controller for Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, where she expanded her nonprofit experience from the auditor side to the management side, by working with both executive and hospital management to make sound financial decisions. This strong financial background in nonprofit financials allowed her to become a nonprofit auditor.
She is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, which requires a peer review every three years, and the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. Being a small business owner, she understands the many factors that must be considered when working with a business, the related entities, the owners and investors. This knowledge will result in a comprehensive analysis of your particular financial situation and the appropriate recommendations will be made.
Teresa loves to travel with her family, dance, play games, and work out to P90X. This is good, since she likes to eat the scrumptious meals prepared by her husband, and best friend, who is an excellent chef! She is truly blessed!
